Page of Wands

A young person (male or female) finely dressed and bearing a Wand, who is about to make an announcement. Like the Knight of Wands and the King of Wands, his or her robes bear the sign of the salamander, symbolizing the element of Fire. Sometimes this card is referred to as the "Rose of the Palace of Fire".

Pages represent news. A new perspective and a new way of doing things are approaching. The focus is on philosophical or intelluctual pursuits. In business matters, get things in writing. Do not compromise your self-esteem.

As with all Court cards, it is also possible for a Page to represent a person. The astrological sign for the Page of Wands is Sagittarius. A person with traits of beauty, courage, cleverness, or enthusiasm maybe indicated. Other adjectives to describe this person might be: outspoken, tactless, direct, charismatic, edgy, or easily bored. This Page may represent the vocations of: musician, philosopher, athlete, politician, student, teacher, or inventor.
